The snow is still causing us havoc. The children are off school for their 3rd day and it keeps snowing! The snow plough came, got stuck, got dug out, reversed and went away! Fortunately a JCB had better luck, so we are able to get out of our drive now but the roads are treacherous.

These are so cute. I love your use of the wide ribbon. I absolutely love the wide ribbon (have two rolls of the wide striped in my stash) but I have a hard time with coming up with ideas and the actual use of it. Thanks for the inspiration.

How adorable are these! That huge ribbon is wonderful! Great coloring! You should be proud. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the red and orange together! That big ribbon is delicious! So so cute!
ReplyDeleteThese are so sweet. The little deer image is just perfect for this card and the wide ribbon creates such abold look to the design.
ReplyDeleteThese are beyond cute!! Love how you used the wide, striped ribbon. I'm sure they will be adored when received. Sorry to hear about all the snow!! We got 6 inches twice but it is all gone now (not that you want to hear that LOL) Hopefully the kids are having a ball in it.
ReplyDeleteI am going right now to make one too! You have done an amazing job on these! I love the colors and that striped ribbon!
ReplyDeleteOhh how I adore these!! Love your ribbon treatment on them too! Y'know you should enter these into our current challenge on A Passion for Papertrey (no pressure though!)
ReplyDeleteHope the weather improves...we've been hit pretty hard here in Sheffield but not nearly as bad as yourself and it's already chaos here!

Aimes

That ribbon is just delightful. I have some of the black, but don't ever use it! Maybe I should get some of the other colors! :) I just really love these little gift card holders..so cute!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Really love that wide ribbon trimming - really finishes off a gorgeous project.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the thaw to start - I do love to see the snow but its the freezing temperatures I don't like. Hope you are keeping warm - we're not quite as snowed in here in Wales - as long as the snow doesn't start again!
This is very cool! I love the gift holder inside too.
ReplyDeleteDebbie these are so CUTE! What a FUN gift card idea.. LOVE your color combo.. I think you should link these cuties in the 12 Days of Xmas on the PTI boards! :) hee hee!!
ReplyDeleteHave a GREAT day!
You used orange for Christmas! I love it and it SOOO works! That ribbon is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteDebby, I love this set and your gift card is so well done. I would never have thought of using red and orange together but it really works!
ReplyDeleteHope you are staying warm!

Oh Debby they are sooo cute you'll put us all to shame. I'm totally unprepared for Christmas, again! Glad your road has finally been visited by the JCB, he's been doing a great job. Lets just hope any further snow is not on the same scale as this past week.
ReplyDeleteGreat little cards - love the ribbon too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with us at A Passion for Papertrey.
Hugs,

I've just discovered your blog and your designs are just gorgeous! These are adorable, and they are one of the few gift card designs i've seen that look like a gift in themselves :) any chance of a tutorial???? Hope the snow eases off a little, but there's never a happy medium as we've had scorchers down here in Melbourne (Australia) the last few days!

ReplyDeleteHi Anne-Marie, I can't take credit for the design. I found the gift cards here (http://www.scrappingmommy.com/2010/07/stress-rx-gift-card-holder-with.html)and there's a great tutorial. I'm glad you like the gift cards though.
