Last year I loved the sketches by Lucy Abrams and despite having a new born baby (many congrats on Lily's arrival!) Lucy has found time to put together a new set of sketches this year. This card is for sketch 1.
The second challenge I used was another favourite of mine - Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger. Here's the inspiration photo.
I think the number theme was obviously an inspiration but I also thought the quilting around the numbers reminded me of the wood grain in Papertrey Ink's modern wood mats. Here's a closer look.
Phew, that's me for today. Have a great weekend!
Change the 4 to a 5 and you can send this to me for my birthday in a few weeks LOL! Love the card, the soft colours and what a wonderful take on teh trigger!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful! Did you stamp your "fabulous" twice? What a nice solution to letters that are too long for the esthetic width of the banner you want to print them on. Thanks for that tip.
