papertrey ink day 2

The anniversary celebrations at Papertrey Ink are continuing today with a challenge to use one of the images from a generous download of wonderful PTI images. I'm going to keep this post short and sweet as I'd want to go and play with some of the other images!

Supplies: Image - Papertrey Ink download; Card - Papertrey Ink lemon tart; Paper - Papertrey Ink 2009 bitty dots basics; Ribbon - Papertrey Ink lemon tart; Button - Papertrey Ink spring mix; Die - Papertrey Ink edgers

These sweet chicks are by Lisa Johnson and just make me smile and think of spring.

So adorable!
Love the "softness" of the colors!
But I have to ask a really num-num question...
how did you get the image off the "square"?

So cute! I love the colour combo. It makes it feel like spring in the studio even though there is snow outside! Love your style.

Hi Renee, not a num-num question at all! I have Photoshop Elements (photo editing software). I opened the download in PE and cut out the chicks before printing them on a separate page. Photoshop is amazing software. The full version costs a lot but Photoshop Elements is relatively affordable and still a very powerful tool for any amateur photographer.
