Now when I first started cardmaking I bought so much stuff! And being the slight hoarder that I am, I still have plenty of it left. Hidden away on a shelf is a tub of metal bits and pieces. I dug around in there and found this ribbon slide. Now it's been in that tub a while but I think it was from Making Memories. I could be wrong however!
Supplies: Stamps - There She Goes jungle out there; Inks - Versafine onyx black; Card - Stampin' Up basic gray; Paper - Studio Calico abroad; Ribbon - Papertrey Ink simply chartreuse; Ribbon Slide - Making Memories?; Clear embossing powder; Markers
I looped the ribbon behind the patterned paper and through the slide, holding everything in place with a bunch of glue dots. Oh and isn't that elephant adorable. I tried to colour his cheeks a little pink for the embarrased look but it's not showing up that well in this photo.
So do you fancy having a go? You could delve into the jar of brads I know we all have, or you could raid the sewing box for pins, buckles or a metal button ....
