I'm a little behind with my online class "
A Cut Above". Thursday's class concentrated on partial die cutting which is a technique I've not really used before. As I sat down today I started playing around with a few die cuts and I wished Papertrey Ink fillable frame 7 came in different sizes. This is one of my favourites die cuts - I love the clean and simple lines. I know I can cut rectangles and round the corners, but a die cut always gives a better result. So I thought I'd try extending the width of this die cut with the partial die cutting technique. It was so simple and the result is perfect. I just wish I'd tried this before! So after all my ramblings, here's my card.
Supplies: Stamps - Papertery Ink little labels; Ink - Versafine smoky gray; Card - Stampin' Up early espresso, island indigo, Papertrey Ink soft stone vintage cream; Dies - Papertrey Ink fillable frame 7, Memory Box nested bird, woodland branch
I will try and catch up on Friday's and Saturday's class if I can :)
