case study challenge 91

How do you fancy another stunning dose of inspiration from Aga this morning? Yep, it’s CASE study time and we are mid month now with Agnieszka Malyszek as our muse. I remember seeing this card on Aga’s blog and oooing and ahhhhing over the wonderful colour and dimension.

So I decided that this was one card I wouldn’t stray far from the original inspiration. I kept the tag, butterflies, green, banner …. pretty much everything!

CASE91

I stamped the butterflies onto vellum with Versafine onyx black and then heat embossed with clear powder. I then went in with blender pen and some peeled paint Distress Ink finally adding a few touches with a white gel pen. What do you think? Is this too close to the original? Possibly not close enough as I still prefer Aga’s over mine LOL!

I am also going to pop this card over to A Blog Named Hero's challenge to dust off those seldom used stamps. Well I use my Hero Arts stamps a lot and there aren't really ones gathering dust, but I have had this set a long time so perhaps that counts!

Supplies: Stamps – Hero Arts antique engravings, my happy; Inks – Versafine onyx black, Distress Ink peeled paint; Card – Stampin’ Up confetti white, Papertrey Ink vellum; Paper – My Mind’s Eye lost & found two breeze, follow your heart be happy; Dies – Lil’ Inker Designs flags & tags, Papertrey Ink tag sale 5
