for your inspiration 33

The first Thursday in the month means it's time for another photo challenge from For Your Inspiration. How about this summer lovely :)

Initially I was drawn to the shape of the archways and windows and I started thinking of the different dies I had that might suit but finally it was the shape of the roof that inspired me to make this card.

The top of the lighthouse was just the same shape and I selectively stamped that in blue to match. The rest of the lighthouse I stamped in a pale grey and then used markers to add some shading. Finally I masked the lighthouse and stamped the rays. These ideas are not my own but ones I picked up from the Wplus9 blog and their DT :) I've been wanting to try out this set for a while having seen their lovely projects.
