cas-ual fridays challenge 83
Do not adjust your sets - it's not Friday yet LOL! This week CAS-ual Fridays is teaming up with 10 Minute Craft Dash and so we are posting that wee bit earlier to co-ordinate the two challenges :) Also please note that this will be a two week challenge :)
The idea is simple - create a project in less than 10 minutes. My reality = not so simple! I am a procrastinator and considering my projects tend to be CAS I spend an awfully long time pushing bits and pieces around trying to find something I'm happy with. So this was a real challenge for me. I went with a little money envie - the idea for which I got from here. The challenge allows you to get your supplies together first before the clock starts. So I planned the size of everything I needed and exactly what I hoped to do and then pressed go on my phone stop watch. And my final time 9.37.1 yey!
The envelope is made from a piece of patterned paper; scored and folded with a belly band to finish and keep it closed.
Simply slide the belly band off to open the envelope and reveal the cash inside :)
I'm happy with the end result and even including planning my project took only 20 minutes or so. Now that's pretty good for me and I especially appreciate speed at this time of year! Oh my word I can't believe that the next time I'll be posting for CAS-ual Fridays will be in the New Year!
One last thing - remember this is a two week challenge, oh and if you link up to both challenges for double the fun, you also get double the chance to win a gift certificate to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps store!
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!
