lil' inker designs sneak peek day 2

I'm continuing on today with Lil' Inker Designs new release hop! Hopefully as part of the hop you've arrived here from Amy's blog. If not pop by and see Laura to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything.

Today sees the release of a set of dies in miniature - mini balloons, party hats and accessories - seriously fun! The size of the dies made for a great opportunity for some creative die cutting. I used the party hat die to create a die cut design from a white card panel.

The negative die cuts were backed with patterned paper and then one of the openings was dressed up as a party hat with a great matching sentiment from the You're Invited set. A little bit of bling finished it off.

Now it's time to hop on over to see Emily for more fun inspiration :)

Supplies: Stamps - Lil' Inker Designs you're invited; Inks - Versafine smoky gray; Paper - Teresa Collins tell your story; Dies - Lil' Inker Designs mini party; Rhinestones - Kaisercraft basics ice blue; Ranger Stickles star dust

You are SO clever! Love that idea of using the dies, effectively, as quilting templates. Another beautiful card from the Queen of CAS!

This is why I love blog hops - to be inspired by such creativity. Negative space - yum. Love the juxtaposition of the graphic nature of the die cuts with the fancy PP. And those little blings are so pretty - or are those sequins??
