How about something a little different today? I even tried a bit of distressing!

The background is stamped in Versamark and is an old sea map stamp of the Welsh coastline a friend got me a while back. With a Welsh husband, my friend knew I'd love it! On top of the map is an instant camera die cut from Lil' Inker Designs distressed slightly with antique linen Distress Ink and backed by some Basic Grey paper. The camera is from There She Goes oh snap set as are the sentiment and date and place labels :)

Well the schools have gone back here today. I always have mixed emotions at this time of year. The start of the year always holds so much promise and thoughts of new and exciting times ahead that the return to school is almost welcome as we really get our teeth into 2013. Then the reality bites of getting everyone up and out the door!

Supplies: Stamps - There She Goes oh snap, Rubber Stampede old sea map; Inks - Versafine onyx black, Memento tuxedo black, Versamark, Stampin' Up old olive, Hero Arts red royal, Distress Ink antique linen; Card - Neenah solar white, Stampin' Up crumb cake; Paper - Basic Grey aspen frost; Die - Lil' Inker Designs instant camera; Copics; Ranger glossy accents; Ranger enamel accents; Ranger Stickles star dust; Twine - Stampin' Up

  2. LOVE this!! The camera is perfect and what a fab friend to send the Welsh stamp! You were born to distress-looks perfect! I'm happy/hoping to be back to a normal routine myself....I don't have little ones to get up-although teenagers have their own needs, LOL!!
