thinking of you

I have a few sympathy/thinking of you cards already made for the sad occasion when they are needed. When a friend recently lost her Dad I reached for one of those cards but as she shared a photo of some woods which held special memories to her I thought of a beautiful Hero Arts stamp which seemed so perfect.

The card I made is ultra CAS. Just white card, grey stamping and a little sparkle for some snow. I tried to add some colour but whatever I did just seemed to take away from the serene beauty of the scene. So I left it just as it was.

Thinking of you my friend.

Supplies: Stamps - Hero Arts k5620 winter moon, CL510 sweet threads labels; Inks - Hero Arts soft granite, Versafine smoky gray; Ranger Stickles star dust; Stampin' Up rhinestone

Although times are sad, I'm feeling so lucky and blessed to have friends like yourself who are SO caring and thoughtful. As soon as I saw this beauty, those happy memories I hold of my dad came flooding back to me.
