I white embossed the jar, stem and daffodil head images onto Simon Says Stamp white water-colour paper and then picked up colour from some Inktense pencils with a wet brush. As a new technique for me, I love how this turned out and added to which I actually used some washi tape on a card rather than just for holding dies in place while cutting LOL. Finally a couple of sequins just seem to be the finishing touch I'm after at the moment :)
I'm popping this card into a couple of challenges - Moxie Fab World's washi tape challenge and Paper Crafts Connection's March country fresh challenge :)
One last thing before I go; have you popped over to Taheerah's blog and seen the fun new feature she is running, Stamp Spotlight? I love Taheerah's series; she did a fab masculine Valentine's series last month with some absolutely ingenious ideas. Loved this algebra one and the one with an actual resistor too! So I can't wait to see what she comes up with for this new series! Oh and I believe there's also a giveaway associated with the series each month :)
Supplies: Stamps - Clearly Besotted Stamps spring blooms; Inks - Versafine smokey gray, Versamark; Card - Simon Says Stamp white watercolor paper, Papertrey Ink kraft; Derwent Inktense pencils; Hero Arts white embossing powder; Washi tape - We R Memory Keepers yellow tape; sequins
