case study challenge 65

Welcome to another week with CASE study! We have the absolutely wonderful Kryssi Ng as our muse this month and this stunning card from her to inspire us this week.

I was blown away by this card - a subtle background allowing centre stage for colour and dimension in the acorns. Perfect! I rotated the layout by 90 degrees, kept the neutral background and used the panel across the card front to hang a Christmas ornament.

Supplies: Stamps - Stampin' Up tags til Christmas, Papertrey Ink signature Christmas; Ink - Colorbox cranberry, Versacolor pinecone; Card - Stampin' Up old olive, sahara sand, Papertrey Ink vintage cream; Jewel - Stampin Up; Twine - Stampin' Up; Punches - Stampin' Up ornament

I really love that Colorbox cranberry ink - it really gives a pop of colour and stamps so crisply. And that ornament is proving to be a favourite of mine this year.

This was a quick and easy card to produce, so I did a few of them!

Pop by the rest of the DT and see how Kryssi inspired them:
