case study challenge 117

Wohoo it's Friday Eve as the lovely Aimes would say! That phrase is synonymous with CASE Study to me LOL! And so on to our latest CASE Study challenge from our oh so talented muse for November Angeline and for this week we have this beauty to tickle our taste buds!

I couldn't resist translating the focal rectangle of Angeline's card into the Instant Camera die from Lil' Inker Designs latest release. I used my die cut to frame Hero Arts serene Winter Moon image which I stamped in Hero Arts wet cement ink. The sentiment is from Lil' Inker Designs Instant Camera: Christmas stamp set and the elegant font matches the serenity of the winter scene beautifully.

So tell me, what do you think of brown tones for a Christmas project? I like the look - sort of old sepia photo. What do you think?

Now it's time to drop by these girls to see how they were inspired by Angeline:

  • Amy Wanford
  • Andrea Ewen
  • Christina MacLaren
  • Clare Buswell
  • Debby Hughes - me!
  • Iwona Palamountain (Chupa):Owner
  • Jean Martin
  • Jeanne Jachna
  • Maureen Plut
  • Teneale Williams
  • Teresa Kline
  • and our guest for November Maureen Merritt

  • Supplies: Stamps - Lil' Inker Designs instant camera: Christmas, Hero Arts K5620 winter moon; Inks - Hero Arts wet cement, latte; Card - Stampin' Up soft suede; Dies - Lil' Inker Designs instant camera, Stampin' Up fancy favor; Ribbon - Papertrey Ink soft stone; Pearls

I love a mix of natural browns with cream and white for holiday projects. It's especially appropriate with the tree scene you tucked behind the Instant Camera frame.

I think brown tones look amazing on Christmas projects. Your card is beautiful, but your box, your box is simply perfect!
