hooray

Day 2 of the online class "A Cut Above" is looking at window cards. I made this window card with this week's Runway Inspired challenge in mind.

Supplies: Stamps - Paper Smooches geo-graphic, Hero Arts/Studio Calico hooray; Inks - Versafine onyx black, Versacolor sky gray; Glitter - Art Institute Glitter 179 tang; Die - Papertrey Ink fillable frame 7

Here's the inspiration photo:

Like the design team, I was inspired by the orange, grey and gold colour scheme along with the chevrons. I liked the way that Jen had used glitter for her chevron and remembered I had a tub of orange glitter too. It's such a shame that glitter doesn't photograph well. In real life the orange chevron is so bright and sparkly!

I'm also going to drop this card by A Blog Named Hero for their cards with a view challenge.

Until tomorrow :)

Debby, you sure did a fabulous job! I too had trouble photographing my orange glitter..tricky, huh? Your card has just the right balance of color, and I adore the little gold crown! The window cutout is a great way to feature the sentiment- I love everything about this card! Thanks for playing along with the Runway Inspired Challenge
