lid day 3 - it's good to dream

Just popping in here today with a sneak peek of a new die and stamp set by Lil' Inker Designs :)  Hopefully as part of the new release hop you’ve arrived here from Teresa's blog. If not pop by and see Laura to start at the beginning so you don’t miss anything :)

I love, I mean seriously love the shape of these sun dies! I can see this is a set I am going to visit often  - they have a great retro shape and of course Laura's signature scored details plus there are two sizes :) For today I used the dies to create some simple flowers. I stitched white stems on the mat layer and die cut the two sizes out before popping the layer up.

Here's a detail shot to see the layers and that lovely scored detail.

Don't forget that this month's prizes will be two $10 store credits :) Now it’s time to hop on over to LID!

Supplies: Stamps - Lil' Inker Designs sun sentiments; Inks - Versamark; Card - Stampin' Up pacific point, tangerine tango; Dies - Lil' Inker Designs sunshine, flags & tags; Stampin' Up rhinestones; White embossing powder

Debby, I love the effect of the recessed die shapes. Although you created flowers for this card, with that red-white-and-blue theme, these shapes could also double as fireworks!
