lid day 5 - congratulations

Today is the last of the sneak peeks for  Lil' Inker Designs latest release :)  Hopefully as part of the new release hop you’ve arrived here from Emily's blog. If not pop by and see Laura to start at the beginning so you don’t miss anything :)

A number of people had commented on my first suns die project that the shapes were reminiscent of fireworks and you know what I saw that too! In fact it was these fireworks at Sea World I had in mind when I made my card!

I cut the fireworks with the two sizes of suns dies in fun colours added them to a Flags and Tags banner and then matted onto a black card base.

The largest yellow firework is actually three die cuts folded in half and glued together to create dimension. I then added a little glitter and some rhinestones for a bit of fun. Here's a closer look:

Don't forget that this month's prizes will be two $10 store credits :) Now it’s time to hop on over to Alicia!

Supplies: Stamps - Lil' Inker Designs flip flop; Ink - Versafine onyx black; Card - Stampin' Up daffodil delight, calypso coral, basic black; Dies - Lil' Inker Designs suns, flags & tags

Like the extra dimension of the multiply-layered yellow suns/explosions. Your photo of fireworks is awesome! They're very hard to capture. You need to scrapbook your vacation, lady!
