Exciting news!

Well I've been sitting on some exciting news - I've been asked to be on the design team of the new challenge blog For Your Inspiration! Of course I jumped at the chance - have you seen their amazing inspiration photos! Have a little look at the photo for this weeks challenge!

Isn't that just fabulous! I love the bold dramatic colours, in particular the colours set on to black on the right of the photo. Here's the card I made.

A totally CAS card to give to my son. My eldest is a swimmer - absolutely loves it, but had a swim meet on the weekend which didn't live up to his hopes and targets he had set himself. This card is to encourage him to meet those targets and reach his dreams. I know he can do it and I thought the rising strips of colour taken from the inspiration photo reminded me of rising levels. The sentiment "Take it to the next level" just fit the bill perfectly.

Pop on over to For Your Inspiration and join in the fun!

Stamps - PTI boy basics game on
Inks - Versafine onyx black
Card - SU real red, pumpkin pie, summer sun, old olive, pacific point, basic black
Punch -SU word window

Wow, Debby! Just about every card you do inspires me, and this one is no different. I love it. I have always loved rainbows, and any rainbow-inpspired colour combination always brings me a smile. Your son will love it.
